How the tests work

Each test is free and needs no account. You answer one question at a time and see straight away whether you were right, with a short explanation. Some questions set European Portuguese against Brazilian usage.

At the end you get your score, the correct answer to every question, and the explanation again for each one you missed. Your score is graded like this:

  • Excellent 90% or more
  • Good 75–89%
  • Passing 60–74%
  • Keep Practising Below 60%

Then read at your level

Every level has graded stories in European Portuguese, listed in the order we suggest reading them.
