Na sexta-feira, Rita e Tiago foram almoçar juntos na cantina. Rita normalmente comia lá fora, mas naquele dia havia nuvens e ela não quis. Tiago comeu depressa, como sempre comia. Rita comeu devagar e saboreou a sopa, que estava deliciosa.
On Friday, Rita and Tiago went to have lunch together in the canteen. Rita normally ate outside, but that day there were clouds and she did not want to. Tiago ate quickly, as he always ate. Rita ate slowly and savoured the soup, which was delicious.
Enquanto comiam, falaram sobre o fim de semana. Tiago disse que na semana anterior tinha comido bacalhau na cantina e estava fantástico. Rita contou que no domingo tinha comido numa tasca no Bairro Alto. Os dois comeram bem e pagaram pouco. "Come-se muito bem nesta cantina", disse Rita. Tiago concordou.
While they were eating, they talked about the weekend. Tiago said that the previous week he had eaten cod in the canteen and it was fantastic. Rita said that on Sunday she had eaten in a tasca in Bairro Alto. Both ate well and paid little. "You eat very well in this canteen," said Rita. Tiago agreed.
