Tenho Fome!

Mateus chega a casa às sete da tarde. "Tenho fome!", diz ele. Abre o frigorífico. Tem queijo, tem iogurte e tem ovos. O seu gato, Mia, também tem fome. Ela tem uma tigela vazia.

Mateus arrives home at seven in the evening. "I'm hungry!" he says. He opens the fridge. There is cheese, yoghurt and eggs. His cat, Mia, is also hungry. She has an empty bowl.

"Tens fome, Mia?" O gato mia. Mateus dá comida à Mia e depois faz uma omelete para si. Come e bebe um copo de água. "Agora não tenho fome. Só tenho sono." Vai dormir às dez.

"Are you hungry, Mia?" The cat meows. Mateus gives food to Mia and then makes himself an omelette. He eats and drinks a glass of water. "Now I'm not hungry. I'm just sleepy." He goes to sleep at ten.
