Full Story — Portuguese with English Translation
E tu?" Rita diz: "Eu não como na cantina. Como lá fora. Hoje vou comer uma sandes no jardim."
It is midday. Rita asks her colleague: "Where are you going to eat today?" Tiago replies: "I always eat here in the canteen. What I ate yesterday was very good — cod with potatoes. And you?" Rita says: "I don't eat in the canteen. I eat outside. Today I'm going to eat a sandwich in the garden."
Tiago come rápido, mas Rita come devagar.
Tiago eats quickly, but Rita eats slowly. "You always eat so fast!" she says. "Yes," says Tiago, "but you eat well in the canteen. The soup is good every day." Rita laughs. "I prefer eating in the sun. But today there are clouds, so I'll eat with you in the canteen."
