Full Story — Portuguese with English Translation
É o primeiro dia na universidade de Lisboa. Afonso fala com a colega Sílvia. "Moras em Lisboa?" pergunta ele. "Moro, sim. Moro em Benfica, com os meus pais. E tu?" Afonso diz: "Eu moro num quarto alugado no Intendente. É a primeira vez que não moro com a família."
It is the first day at the University of Lisbon. Afonso talks with his classmate Sílvia. "Do you live in Lisbon?" he asks. "I do, yes. I live in Benfica, with my parents. And you?" Afonso says: "I live in a rented room in Intendente. It's the first time I haven't lived with my family."
"De onde és?" pergunta Sílvia. "Sou de Braga. Morava em Braga com os meus pais. Agora moro sozinho pela primeira vez." Sílvia sorri. "A minha amiga Ana também morava em Braga! Agora mora na Mouraria. Moram perto um do outro!"
"Where are you from?" asks Sílvia. "I'm from Braga. I used to live in Braga with my parents. Now I live alone for the first time." Sílvia smiles. "My friend Ana also used to live in Braga! Now she lives in Mouraria. You live near each other!"
