As Cores do Arco-Íris

Depois da chuva, Rafa olha para o céu. "Mãe! Vejo um arco-íris!" A mãe sorri. "Que bonito! Quantas cores vês?" Rafa conta: "Vejo vermelho, laranja, amarelo, verde, azul, anil e violeta. São sete cores!"

After the rain, Rafa looks at the sky. "Mum! I can see a rainbow!" Mum smiles. "How lovely! How many colours can you see?" Rafa counts: "I can see red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Seven colours!"

Na escola, a professora pergunta: "Qual é a tua cor favorita?" Rafa pensa. "Gosto de azul! O céu é azul e o mar é azul." A sua amiga Clara diz: "Eu gosto de rosa!" O amigo Martim diz: "Eu gosto de verde, como a relva!"

At school, the teacher asks: "What's your favourite colour?" Rafa thinks. "I like blue! The sky is blue and the sea is blue." His friend Clara says: "I like pink!" His friend Martim says: "I like green, like the grass!"
