Na casa da avó Filomena, há um quarto no fundo do corredor. A porta está sempre fechada. A avó diz a todos os netos: "Não entrem naquele quarto." Ninguém pergunta porquê. Pedro tem nove anos e é muito curioso.
In grandmother Filomena's house, there is a room at the end of the corridor. The door is always closed. Grandmother tells all her grandchildren: "Do not enter that room." Nobody asks why. Pedro is nine years old and is very curious.
Uma noite, Pedro não consegue dormir. A casa está silenciosa. Ele sai do quarto devagar, caminha pelo corredor e chega à porta proibida. Abre-a com muito cuidado.
One night, Pedro cannot sleep. The house is silent. He leaves his room slowly, walks down the corridor and reaches the forbidden door. He opens it very carefully.
